The most common engine transplants replace the standard thermostat housing due to bulkhead clearance issues. Therefore a threaded sensor is supplied in the package that you can drill and tap your aftermarket housing / water rail to suit. If your engine has a standard water housing, Omex can supply a sensor that clips into an unused boss on the standard housing after drilling a hole.
